The Challenge of Social or Peer Pressure

In everyday usage, peer pressure is generally understood to be the constraint that people feel to conform to the standards of the group they are with at any given time. To walk with someone means you are in agreement, just as the prophet Amos wrote, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” If you are walking with ungodly people, then you are saying you are in agreement with them. In other words, by “walking with the ungodly,” you are going where they are going, doing what they are doing and thinking what they are thinking.
