July 12, 2018 - Honor to Whom Honor

This week on In Accord, COGWA President Jim Franks reviews the list of the 16 men who have received plaques since the beginning of COGWA in recognition of 50 years in the ministry. Some on the list are deceased, but all have served 50 years or more in the ministry. It is important that we pause from time to time to give thanks to God for those who have given their lives in service to God’s people. Paul instructs us in 1 Timothy 5:17 to “let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor.”
