Topgolf

This year we have added a new activity—Topgolf! We have reserved two sessions (two hours each) on Wednesday, Dec. 24. The first session will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. The second session will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Price per person per session is $20.

When registering, please select only the session you wish to attend. More information regarding number and names of players in each bay will be provided prior to WFW. Come join us for an afternoon of fun!

Kentucky Science Center

Bring the kids and join us for an afternoon of discovery and hands-on fun at the Kentucky Science Center on Friday, Dec. 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $10 per ticket (children under 2 are free). Maximum of $50 per family.

This special outing is open to families with young children and is a perfect way to explore, learn and make memories together! Come enjoy exhibits, creative learning and family-friendly excitement—all just a short walk from the Galt House!

Main Event

Join us for an afternoon of family fun on Thursday, Dec. 25, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Main Event in Louisville. This activity is fun for the entire family for only $14 per person for four hours. Included in the price is bowling (shoe rental included), arcade (two-hour arcade card included), laser tag, gravity ropes and billiards.

There is also a restaurant inside the Main Event if you would like something to eat in between activities. (Note: Food and drink are not included in the ticket price. You’ll be on your own for any restaurant purchases.) Plan to join us for an afternoon of fun!

Art Show

Attention, artists attending Winter Family Weekend! This year, we will host the fifth annual Winter Family Weekend Art Show, and we need your great work to make it a success.

Ladies’ Tea

You’re invited to our “Around the World” Ladies’ Tea on Thursday, Dec. 25, from noon to 2 p.m. Join us for an afternoon of laughter, fellowship and flavors inspired by travels near and far. Light refreshments will be served, so come ready to sip, snack and enjoy the journey!

Feel free to come dressed as a tourist—sun hats, cameras, fanny packs and all (optional). But don’t worry—passports are not required for this trip!

Space is limited for this event. Registration is required through the COGWA portal and will be restricted to the first 160 ladies. Order of acceptance will be based on the time stamp of your registration. A separate email confirmation will be sent on Dec. 16 confirming whether you have been accepted or placed on the waiting list. 

The adventure is free and open to all ladies aged 16 and up. We can’t wait to “travel” the world with you!

Family Dance

Are you ready to write a new chapter in family dance history? Book it into the ballroom on Thursday, Dec. 25, from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m., for an unforgettable night of friendship, dancing and family fun. This year’s costume theme leaps right off the page—come dressed as your favorite book character!

There’ll be prizes for the most novel costumes (see what we did there?), so start searching the archives of your brain for some great ideas. Whether you come as a classic hero, a beloved sidekick or a character from a tale as old as time, it’s sure to be a storybook evening for the whole family.
