In Luke 21:19 what is it about patience that was so important in Jesus’ mind that He said it would gain us our lives, to use the ESV (English Standard Version) translation? Patience does not appear in Paul’s list of fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5, yet Jesus says it’s crucial.
