Songs of Ascents/Degrees - Psalm 120

These psalms were sung as the children of Israel journeyed to Jerusalem to keep the annual feasts, perhaps reflecting how their anticipation and desire to worship grew stronger as they drew nearer to the city. For us, the journey through the fall festivals begins with the Feast of Trumpets, and today we will see its connection to Psalm 120. This psalm represents the first step in our spiritual journey through the fall holy days as we move toward the coming Kingdom of God.
