God's gift of the Holy Spirit must be stirred up, over a lifetime. We can do this by being willing to be led by it, setting our minds on things above, using its power to overcome our human nature, and by patiently using it to become spiritually mature. Its impact on us and others can be likened to a fountain of living water.
