The Day of the Lord is described as a time when God executes His judgment on the world and the Beast power. During this time seven plagues are poured out on this world causing physical pain and destruction. Although this judgement is needed, a time will soon follow when God's mercy is displayed which will reverse these plagues during Christ reign on Earth.
