Two Journeys to the Promised Land

God rescued His people Israel from captivity in Egypt. They went out rejoicing. Enroute, they saw God's miracles, experienced trials, got discouraged many times and had opportunities to learn faith and trust in God. Over 3400 years later another group has been freed from spiritual Egypt, experienced the excitement, seen and still see God's miracles, have many trials, get discouraged, and have lots of opportunities to grow in faith and trust in God. Similarities between the two journeys abound.
