What Made Jesus Stop?

We all like to be seen, to be noticed; nobody wants to be ignored, to be overlooked.  The Gospels tell us that Jesus was regularly surrounded by crowds. Yet something remarkable happens over and over —even amidst the large groups, pressed from all sides, distracted by the multitude, frequently Jesus stopped for one person…typically a person everyone else had overlooked. This theme reveals a consistent pattern in Jesus' ministry, gives a peek into the heart of Jesus Christ, and helps show us a way we can be more Christ-like in our daily lives.
