North Carolina Super Social

February 7 - February 9, 2020 - Greensboro, NC

We are pleased to extend an invitation to our Annual NC Super Social to everyone once again this Year!  Our entire event will again be held at the Greensboro Holiday Inn Airport: 6426 Burnt Poplar Road, Greensboro, North Carolina, 27409.   This is just off I-40 (Take Exit 211 on to Gallimore Dairy Road).

Meals Prepared: All meals are provided so there will be no meal preparation, serving, or cleanup on our part. The meals include a fabulous Friday Night Dinner featuring chicken piccata and carved prime rib followed by a dessert reception.  A full breakfast is provided by the hotel at no additional cost each morning, for hotel guests. (Get your breakfast tickets at the front desk when you check in.)  Lunch on Sabbath will be various finger sandwiches and veggie trays.  Saturday night dinner is beef and vegetable lasagna, chicken wings and salad. Pizzas will be available for purchase privately during the evening. Contact Patrick Scarborough to order: allow 1 hour.

Pre-pay for Meals

We need for everyone to please make payments for your meals before arriving to the Super Social.  Money will not be accepted for meals at the Super Social.  Holiday Inn staff only prepares enough food for the number of people who have previously registered, and their fee is based upon the number of people we tell them will be eating. We have a cutoff date to advise them.  It is very important that you take care of this at this time. It will greatly assist in our planning for this Super Event! 

Guest Speaker

This year’s guest speaker will be Mr. Mark Winner, Pastor in Atlanta, GA area.  He will conduct a Sabbath morning Seminar, have the Sabbath sermon, and a Sunday morning Seminar.

Saturday Night Activities 

We’re planning a fun-filled evening with activities designed for everyone including: Family Feud, Karaoke, Bingo, Carnival Games, Ping Pong, Corn Hole, and a Photo Booth.

Hotel Room Reservations

The rooms are available on a first come - first serve basis.  When making your hotel reservations please indicate that you are with the COGWA group “Super Social” to receive the discounted rate.   The phone number to call for Hotel reservations is: 336-668-0421. 

The room block ends January 11, so you need to make your reservations ASAP!

Room Prices per Night: King/Double - $ 99.00 this includes all taxes and fees

1st Floor rooms are Handicap accessible
All King Beds are on 4th Floor

Card Project

We will once again be selling greeting cards “handmade by our Hickory, NC ladies”.  The proceeds will go toward final cost of the Super Social.  Cash or Check Only.  Credit Cards will not be accepted!
