Online donation system update. Our online donation system is functioning well for us, and we are encouraged by the number of times the e-check option is being used. In January there were 201 e-check donations made online that totaled over $87,000. The cost for those transactions was around $60 instead of around $2,400 had they been done by credit card or through PayPal. Thank you very much for helping us put more of your donation dollars into the work of the Church!

Now that the annual donation receipts have come out, along with the letter requesting that everyone use the envelope number on the receipt, we wanted to bring to your attention the fact that you can enter that number through the online donation process. The second page of the process is the Order/Transaction section where you select the fund to which you wish to donate. We have added an optional “ID number” field to that page specifically for your envelope number. Using that number is a great help in making sure we credit your account for the donation.

Another question has come up about recurring transactions. Some have noticed that there is a way to set up recurring transactions, but there is no way for an individual to modify or cancel those once they are set up. In order to change a recurring transaction, you will need to contact us to edit or delete it for you. Please email [email protected] for assistance.
