In Part 3, we deal with the grief of death and the disappointment in Christ that Mary and Martha expressed to Jesus Christ’s seemingly slow response to their urgent plea. Although knowledgeable of the incredible truth of the resurrection, their response is not unlike ours—where is Christ when needed Him most? What more can we learn about ourselves and the love of God from this “great cloud of witnesses”?
