Christ said that He would build His Church. What should that Church look like? Just what is He building? The Church that emerged in the third century AD did not look anything like the first century Church of God, built on the foundation of the Apostles and the Prophets, with Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone. What did the congregation in the wilderness have in common with the New Testament Church established by Jesus Christ? Let’s examine the scriptures and discover what Christ really came to establish.
