At the start of Moses’ calling to liberate the children of Israel from Egypt and the hand of Pharaoh, his discouragement was rooted in three areas: 1) The children of Israel would not listen to him due to their discouragement and depression, 2) Pharaoh would not listen to him because of the hardness of his heart, 3) Moses had a very noticeable physical handicap of a severe speech impediment. Why would God choose to send a spokesman to Pharoah, who had a stuttering problem? What inspiration did God give Moses to encourage him during his prolonged discouragement, depression, and disability? And what encouragement does God, therefore, give you when dealing with discouragement, depression, and disability? #3: God appears to us a God Almighty, #4: God makes Himself known to us a Lord.
