Halloween: Does it Matter to God?

Does it matter to God whether we dabble in Halloween traditions and celebrations? Or any of the other holidays? According to John Stott, the prominent British theologian of the 20th century, we should ask ourselves three questions when trying to determine if something is true or untrue: What is its origin? What is its essence or emphasis? And what is its result? Shouldn’t something be true with the right emphasis and the right result before we consider it worthy of our celebration? Let’s analyze Halloween in light of these three questions.
