To restore the soul of your wife, to renew her strength, is a particularly tender and attentive task of the shepherd, the Psalm 23 Man. What does it mean, and what does it take to both recognize when your wife’s soul and her strength need to be renewed, and to understand what she needs from you in order to be restored and renewed?

If we, as men of God, want to understand restoration, we can look to Boaz, the great-grandfather of David. The life of Ruth, as a Proverbs 31 “virtuous” woman, and Boaz, as a Psalms 23 man, are all about love, trust, respect, and restoration.
