Psalm 23:5 (NLT) 5 My love prepares a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.
The enemy in Psalm 23:5 mainly involves the mental, emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects that are present or lingering in the hearts and minds of our wives, stemming from difficult or harmful situations or people, whether past or present. As husbands, we are responsible for protecting our wives to the best of our ability. If we cannot eliminate the enemy, and often we cannot or should not, we are called to help her cope with life's challenges as comfortably as possible. There are many profound teachings for a Psalm 23 man to consider.
