One of the most beautiful passages in Scripture, filled with teaching, instruction, correction, and encouragement, especially for women, is Proverbs 31:10-31. I have titled this section of our series “The Virtuous Woman” instead of The Virtuous Wife because I believe this section of Scripture speaks profoundly to women in general, not just to a wife.

I hope the section of our marriage series will prove to be very encouraging, uplifting, inspiring, motivating, and reassuring to our women in your God-given role as a woman, be you a teenage woman, single, married, a mother or motherless, a daughter, or a grandmother, younger or advanced in maturity.

For the men among us, I hope these scriptures will prove to be humbling, thought-provoking, and enlightening to inspire you in your God given role as a man, be you teenaged men, or single, married, fathers, fatherless, sons, or grandfathers—young or old—to reflect on your thoughts and attitudes regarding the most wonderful physical gift that God has granted us as men: the woman.
