Love, Friendship, Love -- Marriage in The Middle -- Love, Death, Love There is a remarkable statement by Jesus Christ about marriage and the resurrection that I want to make as the final point in this marriage series. In Matthew 22:29, "Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they (husband and wife, man and woman) neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven."

Although at death, the marriage covenant ends, God's design is that the love which God designed to be in marriage is to extend into the resurrection.

Love, Death---LOVE! For in the resurrection! For marriage is HOLY!

The future of the chosen of God who are committed to this holy institution, in the resurrection, will be like the angels of God.
