My Burden is Light

Jesus Christ tells us, “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” We might wonder how can this be, considering the trials and tests of this life that the Bible says we must endure. Let’s spend some time today figuring out how to mesh these concepts together: That of an easy yoke with the challenges of walking the narrow path that leads to eternal life. In these beautiful words we find in Matthew chapter 11, Jesus lets us know that in His yoke we will find rest for our souls.
