Social media can create an illusion of connection—favoring likes, filters, and quick reactions over vulnerability, deep conversation, and presence—contributing to rising loneliness despite digital "connectedness." Drawing on Scripture and examples, we are urged to use practical, faith-centered remedies: put down the phone to give focused attention, choose authenticity over curated images, and prioritize face-to-face gatherings that foster true community. Ultimately, technology can serve but must not replace real relationships or our primary connection with God.
