The Good Hand of God

There is an interesting and encouraging phrase, mindset, and statement of faithful prayer used by Ezra and Nehemiah to express the comfort and assurance they desired to receive, and ultimately did receive from God, to carry out the task and mission of returning the children of Israel out of the captivity of Babylon back to their homeland of Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the temple of God in Jerusalem. We should endeavor to adopt their same perspective, their same statement, as we face the days, weeks, months, and year ahead that will include planned and unplanned missions, projects, ventures, trials, and tests, large and small, with the many unknowns that accompany this life.
