The Light After the Darkness

The Feast of Trumpets is a day of darkness and gloominess, signified by the new moon, that will give way to the light of Jesus Christ’s return at the seventh trumpet. The image of man’s governments portrayed in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2 will be destroyed and replaced by the kingdom of Jesus Christ. The change events that begin when Jesus Christ returns to the mount of Olives are truly new. A righteous government will be established that will bring peace to a ravaged world. The creation itself will be delivered from bondage to allow the earth to yield its fruit. Peace will reign and the economy will be just and benefit all. Finally, the saints will become spirit members of the family of God to rule with Jesus Christ and serve Him and all mankind.
