Spiritual Toolbox Collection: this sermon digs into the spiritual tool of prayer. We can look at prayer as a toolbox made of specific component tools and skills, each with its own purpose. Real progress in your prayer life comes with getting a little technical: identifying the component tool being used, the skill it requires, and the purpose it serves. Prayer is not one action but many. We see action verbs such as praise, lament, confess, repent, and giving thanks. We can improve our prayer life by developing these micro-skills one step at a time.
