Jacob's coming test is about the time of Jacob's trouble if the current combined populations of the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh (490 million) do not undergo a large-scale turnaround from their decline into sin. The message of warning and hope will continue to urge these nations to repent. God predicts the outcomes when they won't change, and a flashpoint is reached also called the Great Tribulation. Still, God offers restoration and an optimistic future after the crisis is over.
