Me? Teach my child about God and His way? How am I supposed to do that? While we parents know that God gives us the responsibility to teach our children the truth, actually doing it can be quite a challenge. We can easily feel lost and overwhelmed by this vital task.
A large portion of our young adults in the Church have young children at home and are looking for help in guiding these young lives—which is why the Church of God, a Worldwide Association, recently launched Encourage, Equip & Inspire, a Resource Manual for Parents and gave a free copy to hundreds of families at the 2015 Feast of Tabernacles. Several hundred more have downloaded the digital version.
What exactly is the parents’ manual? What are the principles that underlie it? How am I supposed to use it? What’s in it, and how is it organized? How do I get started? In this session we will answer these questions, as well as discuss the companion EEI website, upcoming additions to the manual, the Facebook community we’d like you to participate in, and picture/video additions. During this session, you will have the opportunity to interact with us via our live online polls.
Don’t have children at home right now? There are still many reasons to join us: You may one day have children; one day you may become responsible for children; you may wish to help and support friends who have young children; in the World Tomorrow your job will be to teach!

Several research studies suggest that Young Americans between 18 and 33 years old -- the so-called millennials -- are more stressed than any other segment of today’s population. What are some of the factors that plague so many young adults to the point where they are unable to cope with stress? We all know stress is real and a part of everyone’s life, but it’s just as important to know how to manage it. Where can you find the answers to deal with stress? The Bible reveals how many of God’s people worked under stressful conditions in order to complete the assignments given to them by their Creator. How did they manage their stress and what can we glean from their examples? Join Todd Carey for our next FNL as we explore meaningful ways to manage your stress in a stressed out world!

We are enjoying a period of almost unprecedented unity and peace in our association of the Church of God. But Church history and the Bible show that peace and turmoil often come in cycles. Jesus prophesied an intense period of brutal betrayal within the Church of God just before His return. What should we know about that? What lessons have we learned from our own recent history? How can we prepare for times of conflict in the Church? This study will answer these questions.
Presented by Paul Carter - October 16, 2015
We are commanded to “Watch and Pray”, but what are we watching for? How can we know that we are watching for the “right things”? World events are an obvious start, and key to “watching”, but are there specific things we need to watch for? What does it mean to “watch”? There is a definite need at this time in human history to be aware of the changing world around us. We need to be awake and alert to what is taking place, and how it affects our lives, and the plan of God!
Presented by Clyde Kilough - August 21, 2015
If you were to take a person-on-the-street survey and ask, “Identify one thing that God says He hates,” how many people would answer “Pride”? Probably not many, yet God holds a deep, deep prejudice against it. Why? Why is pride so dangerous and destructive, why does it so subtly slip into our lives, and what can we do to guard against and conquer it? It’s too big of a topic to cover in one study, so this FNL will home in on several core principles, found in the book of Proverbs, that will help us prevail against pride.

The Church is graying, and there is an urgent need for fresh leadership. But for this to be done right, both the veterans and the new leaders have to “pass the baton” correctly. How is this done? And what does this require of you, a young Christian, who may be called on to serve the Church?
Presented by Andy Burnett - June 19, 2015
“Peace” and “this present age” are antithetical. One of Jesus Christ’s many titles is “King of Peace.” Do you consider yourself a peacemaker? Does peacemaking possess its limits? What limitations, if any, should we place on striving to be at peace with others? And, at what cost should we seek “inner peace” in our lives? Join Andy Burnett Friday evening, June 19 at 8PM EDT (7 Central, 6 Mountain and 5 Pacific), as we address this topic in Scripture.

How do you answer the person who does not believe the Bible is God’s Word? The person who believes the Bible is fiction? The person who rejects the Bible because he or she feels convinced the book was written solely by humans in an ignorant, superstitious, and cruel age? The person who believes the Bible should not be followed because it contains dangerous ideas? The person who feels that the Bible is no different any other ‘holy book’ found in cultures around the world? Join Dave Myers during our next Friday Night Live to equip yourself on how to answer the skeptics and prove that the Bible is not just another book.
Presented by Britton Taylor - April 17, 2015
This week’s Bible study, presented by Mr. Britton Taylor, will explore our opportunity to form a close bond of friendship with other young adults in the Church. This unique bond of friendship is not unlike a band of brothers. We will look at key scriptures, such as John 15:13; Proverbs 18:24; Ecclesiastes 4:12; and Proverbs 17:17.
